What is a Ready Made Frame?
A readymade frame is a pre-made, pre-assembled picture frame that is
bought off the shelf. The artwork is put into the frame by the customer.
It's basic, do-it-yourself framing.
Why buy Ready Made Frames?
If a ready made frame fits your artwork, it is a cheaper
alternative to custom framing. A readymade frame can be one half to one fourth the price of
a custom frame. We can also cut you a mat and you can have a framed and matted piece on your
wall in a matter of hours. The advantage to Custom Framing is that it gives you a virtually unlimited
number of styles and size.
What if my artwork doesn't fit exactly?
One of the advantages to buying a ready made frame from a custom
frame shop is that we can cut a custom mat that will fit the artwork to the frame.
In most cases, this can be done while you wait.
